So, this is where the 'Albert' thing comes from : a C130 doing touch-and-goes usually has callsign "Albert", that is not just an Akrotiri it's the same in the UK.That led to the 'small Albert' and the 'big Albert' : C130s without a callsign, so call 'm "Albert", going on short or longer runs in and out of Iraq.
