It looks like it did take off in Algeria but unless they speak Catalan in Glasgow, this surely isn't Spain and surely they're not planning to fly that ancient beast across the big pond from PIK. This machine started life in the Soviet Air Force in 1971, it's over 50 years old. So unless they're really planning to take it across, it's dropping something off others -- hello, USAF -- will ferry across...one assumes.On the other hand it could be picking up something others left there.
Whichever way, it's an odd affair.

Update 27/09 : OK, so I doubted whether these "ancient beasts" would cross the big pond, here it is flying from Bolivia to Brazil.
