A couple of Egyptian air force planes out together. The Egyptians, like the French, have an annoying double identification system for their military aircraft : there's the registration that follows the format and rules of their civilian registration system and a digits only system often related to the manufacturer's serial number. Obviously this is, to put it very mildly, not very clever. As with the French I try to use the much safer national registration system. The chance that 2 aircraft from different countries have the same registration when following their respective national standards are practically zero whereas the number system does not guarantee that at all. It's *stupid*.Operations
