So, I got it wrong when the first QID appeared in LAGR-land a few days ago.The QID callsign is not intended to tell machines involved in ongoing NATO exercises apart from those on a 'live' mission, the LAGRs.
QIDs and LAGRs are flying holding patterns over Poland.
