Off on a long mission to Erbil. I do wonder about the rules of overflight : some missions of the A400s into Iraq, like the RAF CBOW mission fly over Israel to the final destination while some A400s also going to Iraq studiously avoid Israeli air space and take the long way around. Is it to do with the load ? The nature of the mission ?Operations
