Not going to Afghanistan this time but no doubt a similar mission. Discretion is clearly not a consideration. Flying in Africa like this makes you stick out like the proverbial sore thumb : the only airline to cross Africa parallel to the equator is Ethiopian Airlines. On the other hand, a 747 is not something one moves around discretely very well.Descending towards Lagos in Nigeria some 4 hours later.
