Well, here it is : the RAF C17 the flew into Riyadh from Kabul as a NATO NAG flight earlier for a quick change of hats now flies into Akrotiri as a regular RAF flight. You'd almost think the military flying these NATO missions to Afghanistan want to minimize their exposure with the NATO NAG call sign. The Turks brazenly change their call sign to NAG as they cross into Afghani air space and the British, slightly more by the book, make a quick stop at Riyadh's absurd air base to change from NAG to RRR. Nothing to see here folks, move along.
