We saw the RDPL-34146 phenomenon first on 09/07/2023. Twice in fact.

Eleven days later RDPL-34146 was there again but going the other way. Twice.

Today it was there again but only once.

Here's what I make of it :

The RDPLs were not two planes, but one with two transponders set to different ADS-B addresses. A cunning plan.
It's not RDPL-34146, but it once was, just like it once was EW-383TH, UP-I7649, UR-EAB and finally, as far was we know : UR-FSE.

Interestingly, the last time we saw any on them in action they were flying in or out of Tekirdağ where this IL76 was 'stored' in 2022 !

It's unclear who the real owner/operator of this IL76 is today but it looks like it does special deliveries for Bayraktar and it customers in Africa from Tekirdağ, and others, grabbing an identity from it's rich and well-travelled past to 'dress up' as.

A special delivery 'van' to get Turkey's many customers their warez ?

Like Wagner's IL76 TL-KPA, this is one of the 'mystery' IL76s which, like so many Mi8s, fell between the cracks.
