This is the first and as far as I can tell, the only firefighter to appear to fight a fire that's now burderning for 3 days.Smoke, the house smells of pine raisin and ashes everywhere and the actual fire some 30 km from here accross water.
Yesterday evening the fire was only near the top, now the whole mountain top to bottom is an inferno.
Yesterday, from my balcony, you needed binoculars and know where to look, now it impossible to miss.
One helicopter.
Fortunately it's a sparsely populated area.Resources
