The first operational TB2 we see today. Here's my tentative theory on Bayraktar-less days -- this isn't the first : suppose you're testing powerful new radar equipment -- cough, S-400, cough. With the TB2s out and about nearly all with illegal ADS-B addresses you're bound to get a lot of false positives particularly near the borders of your air space in this case. Now add the 001071s to the mix and you've got a right mess on your hands. Not only does it appear there are many unidentified/unidentifiable bogeys on your borders in every direction you look, but one appears in many places at different times suggesting incredible speed. Not ideal for testing your brand new top-of-the-line very expensive gear.
So basically they're bugged by the same thing that trips up the on-line trackers.
Or to put it another way : hoisted by their own petard. Your cunning plan to confuse the trackers is also confusing your own cunning new tracking gear.
"Aptal" comes to mind, again
@ 20:29 UTC : Even when restricted to an unusually small area for an Aegean coastal drone it still manages to cross the line to take a peek at Alexandroupoli. Incorrigible.
