We've seen Qatar's on-going Moroccan affair which also started with an apparent test flight
followed by a flurry of flights in the space of a few days followed by more or less frequent
flights by individual aircraft and now we see a similar pattern involving central Africa, Rwanda specifically
and the small island of Bioko
in the Gulf of Guinea.
After an apparent test flight to Kigali on 26/02
we're now clearly in the flurry phase :
11/03
Two C-17s fly from Qatar into Africa and disappear over Sudan.
12/03
Two C-17s fly from Qatar into Africa and disappear over Sudan.
13/03
The two C-17s of 11/03 reappear over Sudan and fly to Istanbul in Turkey.
The C-17s of 12/03 return to Qatar from Malabo on Bioko.
The yet another two C-17s leave Qatar for Africa. One, LHOB254, lands in Rwanda as presumably does the other.
In the case of Morocco a link with the Abraham Accords
could be imagined but what is Qatar's invasion of central Africa and little Bioko
about ?
This will have to be watched !
